Abstract


There is a tendency for entrepreneurship education in higher education to prioritize learning achievement focusing solely on cognitive achievement and a measure of success as an entrepreneur is the achievement of financial profit. As a result, college graduates lack the spirit of entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial intention in themselves. Entrepreneurial learning should consider new economic systems and actions based on "homo economicus as fundamentally pro-social being". Entrepreneurial learning should also be linked to the spirit of Article 33 of the 1945 Constitution which prioritizes the interests of all parties based on the spirit of altruism and compatibility in the relations of human and human beings with their environment towards the ultimate goal of national economic development. This research was conducted to analyze the needs of entrepreneurship learning design development based on caring economics to develop the spirit of entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial intention in universities. The research was conducted with qualitative techniques. The results of the study include: spirit of entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial intention students who have taken courses in Entrepreneurship Education are still relatively low. The entrepreneurial learning process held is still not able to develop these two variables in students. Entrepreneurial learning that tends to prioritize academic mastery from the cognitive aspects is not able to move students to be more able to have the spirit of entrepreneurship. In addition, entrepreneurial learning material has also not included caring economic.
