Abstract

This research investigates the promotion of sustainability awareness among students at Sanata Dharma University, with a specific focus on the significant influences of participation, university image, and institutional support. Utilizing a multiple regression analysis technique, the study recruits a sample of 250 students from various academic areas to participate. The major data gathering tool employed is a questionnaire. The research hypothesis is formulated based on three fundamental assertions. First and foremost, it is argued that student engagement plays a crucial role in fostering the development of sustainability consciousness among students. Furthermore, it is anticipated that the perceived image of the university will have a partial influence on students' consciousness regarding sustainability matters. Moreover, it is postulated that the provision of institutional assistance plays a pivotal role in cultivating a sense of sustainability consciousness among students. If the findings of the multiple regression analysis support these hypotheses, it can be deduced that strategic interventions targeting the enhancement of student engagement, improvement of the university's image, and provision of institutional support may effectively contribute to the cultivation of sustainability awareness among students at Sanata Dharma University.
