Abstract


This research investigates the effect of minimum wages and unemployment rates on economic growth in districts/cities in Bali Province. The panel regression method is used to analyze annual data from 2018 to 2020 from districts/cities in Bali. The results show a significant relationship between the minimum wage and economic growth, with a tendency that an increase in the minimum wage contributes positively to economic growth. However, the unemployment rate has a complex influence, with some regions showing a negative relationship and others insignificant. This research provides insight into regional economic policy in Bali, emphasizing the importance of considering local factors in designing policies related to minimum wages and unemployment to support sustainable economic growth
