Abstract
Tourist destinations play a pivotal role in fostering economic growth in surrounding areas. The extent of this contribution hinges on the performance of the tourist destination itself. Tourist destination performance can be evaluated based on four key aspects: awareness, attractiveness, amenities, and accessibility. This paper aims to analyze the performance of a tourist destination from the perspectives of awareness, attractiveness, amenities, and accessibility. Employing a survey research methodology, data was collected through structured interviews with selected respondents, including visitors, managers, local communities, and local government officials associated with the tourism destination “Pemandian Alami”in Pluneng Village, Kebonarum District, Klaten Regency. The primary findings of this study present the performance scores of the tourist destination in each of the four assessed aspects. The awareness aspect score indicates that the majority of respondents have a good understanding of the evaluated tourist destination. The attractiveness aspect score suggests that the evaluated tourist destination holds appeal for respondents. The amenities aspect score reveals that the facilities and infrastructure of the evaluated tourist destination are adequate. The accessibility aspect score indicates that the evaluated tourist destination has sufficient accessibility for visitors.
