Abstract

In the rapidly growing digital era, online transactions have become an inevitable activity in everyday life. Its ease and practicality bring various conveniences, but on the other hand, it opens up loopholes for cybercriminals to launch criminal acts. Therefore, online transaction security literacy is the main shield to protect yourself in this digital era. With adequate literacy, individuals can recognize trusted websites and applications, maintain the confidentiality of personal information, and understand various modes of fraud that are rife in cyberspace. This paper aims to identify the level of online transaction security literacy. The research method used is a survey research method in which research data obtained through filling out questionnaires by selected respondents is then analyzed with descriptive statistics. This study took respondents from among university students. This paper presents the main research results, namely the level of online transaction security literacy among university students. The results showed that the level of online transaction security literacy among university students was relatively good. This indicates that university students tend to have understood the knowledge about online transaction security and have taken anticipatory measures for the security of online transactions they do.
