Abstract


The three essential components of classroom instruction are the teacher, the students, and the textbook which includes the curriculum's specifics (Sulaiman et al., 2014).to describe the distribution of HOTS items in the reading questions. In this qualitative analysis methodology, the descriptive-analytical study describes and clarifies the data before analysis. The study's theme of cryptography was then applied to them. The coding classes are A1, which stands for the memory of factual information. The result of the study is 13% from remembering, 9% from understanding, 48% from applying, 17% from analyzing, 2% from evaluating, and 11% from creating, so it can be conclude that this paper would like to help people or student to analyze teacher’s book.
