Abstract

Teachers in the 21st century have been encouraged to be more innovative in helping pupils learn the materials more simply. Since their pupils are members of generation Z, who are unable to live without technology, teachers should have been aware of taking advantage of how technology may help them bring the classroom environment to life. Few teachers, nevertheless, are aware of the fact that using technology in the classroom can spur pupils’ creativity. It is because there aren't many teachers who are courageous and self-assured enough to use whatever technology they have in the classroom. Thus, the aim of this case study was to investigate how "Storyboard That" was used to encourage pupils' creativity in their writing projects. A random sample of 32 pupils from one university in Jember was chosen. The researcher created a questionnaire to find out the use of "Storyboard That" and how creative pupils were when creating projects by using the platform. According to the empirical findings, the use of "Storyboard That" clearly promotes pupils' creativity, as reported by the respondents. Additionally, "Storyboard That" has made it easier for them to complete their writing projects.
