This study aims to determine the implementation of the MBKM program in the Department of Language, the University of Jambi, consisting of Indonesian Language and Literature Education program, English Language Education program, and Arabic Language Education program. Using a qualitative approach, this case study employed interview to collect the data. This research involves 66 students from three study programs who participated in five MBKM programs starting from 2020 to mid-2022. These programs include humanitarian projects, kampus mengajar, educational internships, program of village development and empowerment, student exchanges and research.  In terms of benefits, the MBKM program is beneficial in helping the community and schools but also in helping develop students' soft skills. The MBKM program is proven to develop students' soft skills, which include critical thinking, problem-solving skills, the ability to adapt to situations, leadership, communication and collaboration skills. In terms of character, the MBKM program has trained the students to be confident, disciplined, patient, and not give up easily.  In conclusion, the MBKM program effectively prepares students to enter the place of work.
