Abstract


One of the activities to improve the students’ reading skills of Foreign Language is having reading reports on the articles that they have read. This study investigated the students ‘perception on the weekly reading report in extensive reading class. It is a case study with qualitative method. The data were gathered from an extensive reading class, consisting 40 students. An online questionnaire and interview were administered and analyzed. The results showed that the activities were helpful to develop their reading habit and improve their reading skills in comprehending the article accurately and effectively. By doing the reading report, the students were making reflection time for themselves which is very useful to get more knowledge from what they have read.
