Abstract


M-Reader is one of the applications that can be used for conducting Extensive Reading practices in educational institutions. Seminari Mataloko has been using M-Reader since 2021 to help the students’ literacy and identity development. The M- Reader application is provided inside English room of Seminari Mataloko. The students can visit and use the application when they are free. They choose their own reading material and attempt the provided quizzes during the reading process. This research will use narrative inquiry to investigate the implementation of Extensive Reading activities facilitated by M-Reader and how the implementation influences the seminarians’ identity. This research will explain how the M-reader influence the construction identity of seminarian as a candidate priest.
