Abstract

Group project used to be assigned frequently in various classes to train students to work in a team. Before the pandemic, students met face to face and worked on the project together. Because of the Covid-19 pandemic, students and instructors have not been able to meet face to face as an attempt to stop the spread. Thus, group projects seem impossible to be done. Nevertheless, in Introduction to College English (ICE) at Duta Wacana Christian University, group video projects were still assigned and students managed to complete the projects. The study aims to describe the process of assigning group video projects to four ICE classes at DWCU. It also discusses the process of assisting students while working on those assignments. Data were collected through learning platforms and social media used by instructor and students to communicate during the pandemic.
