Abstract

The main question to answer in this study is “What kind of fruits would MMC class promise young people to pick for their future?” The primary data of this study are taken from those class final assignments done from 2015 to 2017. The very three year occasions have been the very beginning of the idea to eveluate and develop the class in question. The method used in this study is to be carried out by investigating the data by making use of  the principles of The Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius (1987/2018) of Louis J. Puhl,S.j.; the so-called mbombong-mbimbing of Herujiyanto’s Katresnanism Theory (2006); the Ten Steps of conducting educational research and development proposed by Borg and Gall Model (1983); and Journalism Media: Pratical Newspaper Reporting of Geoffrey Harris and David Spark. Not only is the study expected to show how Journalism MMC Class has accompanied young people in the creation of a hope-filled future, but it is also an evidence of its best efforts to trigger young people to plant their trees of hope.
