The research was conducted to analyse the Grice Maxim’s of conversation found in jokes book entitled “The World’s Greatest Collection of Clean Jokes” written by Bob Philips. The paper presents a qualitative research, specifically content analysis. The researcher conducted the study by identified, classified, analysed, and made conclusion of what maxim are found in the book. This method has two sources, they are primary and secondary sources. The primary source was the maxims found in source, while the secondary sources were theories of Grice Maxim’s of conversation. The findings of this study are the study showed that there are the four Grice’s maxims namely Maxim of Quantity, Quality, Manner, and Relevance.
