Due to the current situations, teachers and lecturers are required to adapt themselves in their classes. The nature of different classes requires different kinds of strategies. Among the language skills and language elements, different kinds of challenges appear. While academic staff at different levels have joined the discussions about the indispensable use of technology, and there have also been discussions on the considerations for students’ wellbeing, it is relevant to use this opportunity to ask the question: how can we make sure that our students’ progress is enhanced in their online speaking classes?
