Abstract


This research is entitled Social Inequality in Oliver Twist a Novel by Charles Dickens. This research aims at describing the social inequalities in the Oliver Twist and the language  attitude in terms of socioeconomic.  This research uses descriptive qualitative approach. The material object of this research is based on a novel written by Charles Dickens, Oliver Twist.  The formal object in this research is the structural approach and comparative studies. Data analysis emphasizes the content analysis techniques. This literature review is done by reviewing the results of previous research on comparative literature. The results of this preliminary study serve as the basis for determining the concepts to be studied; describe the equation as well as the textual differences in the two novels. Oliver Twist Novels have various plots, dialogues, and internal structure according to this research.  In this paper, the researcher wants to find out the social inequality in the novel and to analyze the moral values in Novel Oliver Twist by Charles Dickens.  This study indicates that attitudes toward English can vary among young people from various socioeconomic.
