Abstract


This paper reviews the concept of teacher agency, which plays an important role in managing the practice of institutionalized instruction and in improving teacher’s professional development as well as promoting school reform in current teaching and learning modes. Task-technology fts is important as a critical construct that may support teachers to provide their teaching approaches that ‘fits’ with the tasks being introduced in online learning activities. This paper then evaluates several beliefs, concepts and practices of several ‘abrupt’ designing and implementing online learning activities during this disrupted era which should not be overlooked by the amount of technological teaching and task approaches, as not all of them may fit or appropriate with the student’s actual condition. The significance of this evaluation aims to provide meaningful learning experiences for students who are attending online learning courses.
