With the emergence of large language models, a new paradigm of blended learning environments with AI co-teaching has arisen. This paper investigates a pressing problem within modern pedagogy: How can human educators and artificial intelligence work together to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes in language education? Previous research has laid foundational work in blended learning, yet integrating AI as co-teachers presents a novel, unexplored dimension. An imperative to address this inquiry stems from AI co-teaching's potential revolution to language education, filling a research gap and applying fresh analytical perspectives.
