Abstract
This article aims to reveal the method of using 3D media in digital history learning as an effort to instill student character. The teacher is able to teach history to students through 3D media that is easily obtained through digital applications "papercraft". Of course the media can involve students to learn more about history. This article uses qualitative descriptive research methods. The results of the study show that history learning using 3D media can improve students' ability in learning history and become a medium to instill good character for students. This article has been carried out by students in the history learning and media courses, in the history education study program, Sanata Dharma University. The hope is that historical educators can use digital media and they cannot find lessons in teaching and learning activities in schools. In addition, students can understand characters that are in accordance with national identity.
