Since the Second Vatican Council, the Church has prioritised the active participation of the faithful. However, modern life's increasing complexity has made participation more challenging. Through the use of Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA) and comparative methods to study the Friday Bikers Community, a categorical community in Banteng Parish, Semarang Archdiocese, it was discovered that the primary challenge faced by the faithful is the territorial model of the church. The presence of a categorial episcopate can help balance the demands of work and active participation in church activities for categorial communities, such as the Friday Bikers community. This is a new breakthrough for today's church.
