Abstract
Religious moderation is extremely important and urgent in the framework of education, since education aims to develop students' attitudes and characters in addition to imparting academic knowledge. This narrative literature review delves into the urgency of religious moderation and its impact on the educational framework, exploring the unique perspectives of interfaith religious teachers in the Indonesian context. Against the backdrop of a diverse and pluralistic society, this study aims to elucidate the nuanced ways in which religious moderation manifests within the educational sphere. The narrative review synthesizes existing scholarly works, shedding light on the role of interfaith religious teachers as key influencers in shaping educational practices that foster tolerance, understanding, and social cohesion. By examining the experiences and insights of the interfaith teachers and adherents, the paper seeks to contribute to a comprehensive understanding of the intersections between religious moderation and educational paradigms in Indonesia. The findings of this review not only enrich the academic discourse on religious moderation but also offer practical implications for policymakers, educators, and stakeholders engaged in shaping inclusive educational environments within diverse cultural contexts.
