Abstract
Religion is a universal phenomenon that plays an important role in civilization, including in Asia which is known for its high religious plurality. Religious plurality in Asia influences socio-political and cultural life, while also being a fertile ground for the growth of Christianity. However, this diversity also poses challenges, such as religious conflict and the politicization of religious teachings. In the context of Indonesia as a pluralistic country, interfaith dialogue is important to maintain social harmony. This study aims to examine the relationship between religious plurality in Asia and its relevance in interfaith dialogue in Indonesia in the 21st century. The formation of interfaith communities is a path to peace and tolerance amidst religious plurality. Simpul Iman Community or SIM C is one of the interfaith communities that moves to find peace behind the existing differences. Through a qualitative descriptive approach, interviews and text structure analysis, this study explores the dynamics of religious plurality and an inclusive dialogical theology approach.
