Podcast video is currently famous now, especially “Close the Door” by Deddy Corbuzier. It brings the latest trending topics from famous people such as politicians and celebrities. Since Deddy has a lot of guests, he must switch his speech acts every time he talks to different people. This study aims to find out the types and the frequencies of speech styles used to politicians and celebrities. Based on the theories of speech style proposed by Chaer and Agustina (2010), this research uses a qualitative descriptive approach by collecting the data from the videos and analyzing them in a table consisting of the five speech acts. By using those theories, the writers found that Deddy’s speech styles are changing based on which guests he is talking to. He uses Consultative, Casual, and Formal to both of the guests. However, he uses more Consultative with the politicians and Casual with the celebrities.
