There are some factors that influence men and women in using language. Men and women tend to use language differently in their daily conversation. This statement can be proven by the difference of features that they used during speak. This study was aimed to find out about the usage of women’s language features used by Amber Heard in Cross-Exaomination Day 17 Part One towards Johnny Depp’s lawyer, and find the function of those features used by Amber Heard. This research investigated the type and function of women’s language in courtroom. The researcher conducted this study with Lakoff’s theory. The research was conducted by using descriptive qualittaive method, while for collecting the data were watching the record video several times.
