Abstract


The development of digital media and technology makes it easy for users to access, select, and utilize information needed for their life. However, thedevelopment of advanced technology encourages changes in the concept ofliteracy it self. The younger generation who lacks knowledge about digitalcompetence, of course, poses a risk for the younger generation themselvesto be left out in the competition for jobs, democratic participation, andsocial interaction.The purpose of this study was to determine therelationship between digital literacy in social interaction with the futurecareer prospects of undergraduate students. This study uses a quantitativemethod with a correlation approach. Data was collected through aquestionnaire. Analysis data shows that there is a significant relationshipbetween digital literacy in social interactions with futue career prospects.This finding ahows that digital literacy is very important for students ininteracting. In addition, good digital literacy skills can have a positiveimpact on students future careers.
