DEVELOPMENT OF IMMUNE SYSTEM EDUCATIONAL GAME FOR 2nd GRADE HIGHSCHOOL

Abstract


The Covid-19 pandemic has left teachers and students unprepared for online learning. The skills of teachers and students in using IT devices such as smartphones are very important in online learning. A needs analysis conducted in 4 high schools found that online learning often bores students. So, we need a media to reduce student boredom in online learning. This study aimed to develop an educational game-based biology learning media using Scratch and evaluate its feasibility. The immune system for 2nd grade high school was used. This R&D research used the ADDIE model was limited to the development stage. Validation was carried out by 3 content experts and 3 media experts. The results of the content verification showed that the product meets the "very feasible" criteria with a percentage of 91.3%. It has a media verification score of 91% and a 'Very Eligible' criteria. Based on these results, the immune system educational game was stated feasible to be tested on a limited scale with modifications suggested by the validators.
