Abstract

Technological developments are entering an era of transition from analog to digital, where almost all analog (physical) devices, tools, needs already exist in digital media with the aim of making things easier, time efficient, cheap and practical. Such as the transition from public telephones to mobile phones, the existence of digital money such as e-banking, OVO, funds, etc. to facilitate online payments. The same development occurred in the field of electronics which has resulted in new discoveries. This research contains a digital parametric equalizer plugin software. Software applications from this development can be developed to make it easier for students to understand digital filters. The equalizer plugin will perform the stages of dividing the filter into three bands, based on the specifications of each filter. Then the program will process the sound signal which is processed by filtering. This software will display three bands and the program will calculate the filter coefficient of the input signaling. The calculation of the biquad filter in this software uses the optimal method. The filter coefficient between each band can be changed according to the user's wishes. The results of testing the parametric equalizer plugin software have been successfully simulated because the output of the equalizer process has changed even though it is not optimal. This is because this study uses a biquad filter to create a parametric equalizer program. Therefore, the user concludes that the biquad filter is not suitable for use in this test.
