Abstract
In studying how an AC motor works, students often have difficulty understanding it because the AC motor rotates quite fast and there is no visible magnetic field driving it. This study aims to visualize the rotating magnetic field on an AC motor using GeoGebra. GeoGebra is an application for mathematical calculations and mathematical visualization. The visualizations include visualization of rotating magnetic fields for split-phase AC motors and 3-phase AC induction motors. The direction of the rotor is determined by the magnetic field vector that rotates in the stator coil section. The results were obtained in the form of Construction on GeoGebra to display the resultant vector of the coil and indicate the direction of the rotor. The motion of the rotor can be seen step by step and the movement can be slowed down or accelerated using the slider. The direction of rotation can be changed by changing the order of excitation in the coil.
