Abstract
The pandemic COVID-19 has transformed traditional education into a more online environment. Teachers and students struggled to adjust to the new learning environment as a result of the abrupt change. The participants in this study are teachers from six high schools. Biology was a subject that was challenging to learn, particularly the metabolic process. This study was done to create and assess the suitability of Metaboliverse, an interactive multimedia website. The research used Sugiyono’s research and development model which were limited to 5 stages including potential and problems, data collection, product design, design validation, and design revision. The research used two data collection methods, namely interviews and questionnaires. The product has been developed by using Google sites. The product then being validated by one media expert, one material expert, and two learning practitioners. Score of validation is 94.38%, with criteria of “Very Eligible”. This research concluded that the Metaboliverse website is very eligible to be tested to limited group of students and has the potential to be used in online learning environment.
