Abstract
The study that discusses technology (ChatGPT) and how this technology is adopted by certain groups (students) aims to determine the effect of performance expectancy and effort expectancy on ChatGPT use behavior in Sanata Dharma University students. Behavioral intention is an intervening variable in this relationship. Age, gender, and experience are moderator variables in the effect of performance expectancy and effort expectancy on ChatGPT use behavior through behavioral intention. Data were collected using a questionnaire distributed to Sanata Dharma University students. The data collection technique was carried out using the snowballing sampling technique and the sample used was 219 respondents. Data analysis was carried out using a quantitative approach, while data processing was carried out using SmartPLS software. The results showed that performance expectancy and effort expectancy had no effect on use behavior through ChatGPT's behavioral intention. This is shown by the p-value performance expectancy for use behavior through behavioral intention of 0.645 and the p-value effort expectancy for use behavior through behavioral intention of 0.270.
