Barong Ket mask is one of the famous masks from Bali and is part of the dance that is told in the narrative about Calon Arang. The colors on the Barong Ket Mask are dominated by red, black, and other colors. Color is a means of communication, there is a message to be conveyed when using certain colors. Colors in certain areas have their own messages and meanings. Likewise, the colors used in the Barong Ket mask have meanings or messages contained in them that are related to the thick culture of the Balinese people themselves. The purpose of this research is to find out the colors chosen and used in this Barong Ket mask representing a certain message behind it. This study uses a qualitative research methodology with a hermeneutic method in which this method seeks to understand meaning through interpretation. The expected results are knowing the meanings of the colors used on the Barong Ket mask, and knowing what the use of certain colors in this mask gives communication or meaning.
