Abstract


This article discusses the importance of integrating peace education into history learning to build a peaceful constellation in the 2024 elections in Indonesia. History education plays a crucial role in shaping a deep understanding of past conflicts and their resolution methods. By incorporating the principles and practices of peace education into history learning, students can prevent and address election conflicts without violence and hate speech. The research methods used include literature review and curriculum analysis regarding the implementation of peace education in history learning in schools. The aim of this research is to provide practical recommendations to educators and decision-makers in education and raise public awareness about the importance of peace education in fostering peace in elections. By integrating peace education into history learning, the younger generation can acquire the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to create a peaceful atmosphere in the 2024 elections and the future. Integrating peace education into history learning can serve as a strong foundation in building a more harmonious society and addressing conflicts in a peaceful manner. By understanding history and the principles of peace, students can become positive agents of change in overcoming the challenges faced by Indonesia in the context of elections.
