Abstract
Bullying in schools is growing rapidly and becoming a significant problem because
the majority of perpetrators are adolescents. Bullying includes aggressive behaviour that is carried out repeatedly in the form of physical, verbal, social in which there is a difference in power or status. Every bullying has a significant impact on the psychological condition of the victim. This impact can be overcome when the victim has resilience. The research use quantitative method with descriptive research type. Respondents in this study amounted to 76 students from 14-16 years and has been victims or were still experiencing bullying. The sampling technique is purposive sampling. The resilience scale used CD-RISC. Based on the research results obtained, the majority of respondents have high (47.37%) to very high (23.68%) resilience and the others have low (2.63%) and moderate (26.32%) resilience. In addition, there were no differences in resilience between men and women (Χ² = 1.954; p > 0.05), but there were differences in resilience among victims who experienced different types of bullying (Χ² = 13.046; p < 0.05). This research result shows that high resilience is a protective factor that helps victims maintain themselves to function properly and optimize their resources to reduce the negative impacts that arise from experiences of bullying.
