Abstract


The design of the prototype/hydroponic research tool has been carried out using SolidWorks software. The purpose of making this design is to facilitate the manufacture of research tools and as a reference in the selection of research tool components. The advantage of using SolidWorks software is that there is a component design that will be used from the results of previous designers, thus speeding up the 3 Dimensional design that will be created. Broadly speaking, the design method used in designing the 3 Dimensional Prototype of Hydroponic Research Tool using Solidworks Software is to design cabinets, doors, cabinet casings and door casings, design the upper cabinet and its components, then design the lower cabinet and its components. The results of the 3D design obtained a cupboard construction with a lower cabinet and an upper cabinet containing components of hydroponic research tools. In the future, the results of the 3D design can be analyzed for the construction and the water flow using simulation facilities on SolidWorks software.
