Calcification of Statistical Thinking Skills in Industrial Statistics Courses

Abstract
Statistical thinking ability is an ability that needs attention to be developed. There are several aspects in the ability of statistical thinking ability, namely: able to describe data, organize data, able to represent data, able to interpret data. This research aims to provide information related to the classification of students' statistical thinking skills in industrial statistics courses. This type of research is descriptive qualitative, with the think aloud method in collecting research data. The results showed that more than half of the students had not achieved statistical thinking skills. This finding is expected to be the basis in developing students' statistical thinking skills in industrial statistics courses. The results showed that more than half of the students did not reach the reflection stage, only a small number of students had done critical thinking. The development of reflective learning is needed, so that reflective thinking can be developed effectively in learning.
