Abstract

This article conducts a literature review on the intersection of energy transition and capitalism, aiming to provide insights into the philosophical foundations of human-nature relations. As the world grapples with the urgent need for sustainable energy solutions, the prevailing capitalist framework often prioritizes profit over ecological integrity. This study explores various theoretical perspectives that challenge traditional capitalist paradigms, advocating for a more ethical and symbiotic relationship between humanity and the environment. By examining case studies and scholarly discourse, the article highlights alternative models that promote sustainability and social equity. Ultimately, it argues for a reimagining of ethical frameworks that can guide the transition towards a more just and sustainable energy future.
