Abstract

The Nicene Creed (325) affirms the doctrine of the Trinity as the core of Christian faith, which is not only theological but also has spiritual and social implications. This study analyses the relationship between the Trinity and communal spirituality in the Asian context with a qualitative approach through a literature study. By examining classical and contemporary theological sources, the research shows that the understanding of the Trinity - based on the relationship of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit - inspires a communal lifestyle that emphasises solidarity, harmony and togetherness. In Asian traditions rich in values of collectivity and interrelational spirituality, the doctrine of the Trinity can serve as a paradigm for an inclusive and dialogical life of faith. This study confirms that the Nicene Creed is not only a dogmatic foundation but also has transformative power for the practice of Christian communal life in Asia.
