DIGITAL EVALUATION OF ENGLISH LEARNING IN PANDEMIC: CASE STUDY ON UPB LEARNINGUIN ANTASARI BANJARMASIN

Abstract


In covid-19 pandemic era, all learning in every school and campus has transformed into online learning with its aspects, include evaluation aspect. The evaluation, which before by face-to-face with the control of educators, was changed to an evaluation without face-to-face interaction. This made hard the educators to knowing the evaluation results accuracy of students. As the one of unit which improving students' English skills, UPB UIN Antasari Banjarmasin do the English learning during the pandemic even though by digital learning. It made the evaluation method is also do by digital evaluation without face to face interaction and must be accurate. This is interesting for researchers to know the steps of digital evaluation of English learning on UPB UIN Antasari Banjarmasin. This study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive data analysis methods. The subjects of this study were UPB lecturers, UPB heads, and UPB UIN Antasari students. The results of this study tell that the digital evaluation steps of learning English UPB UIN Antasari Banjarmasin has implemented evaluation steps in accordance with the 8 general principles of learning evaluation.
