Abstract

The targeted objective of conducting this study is to develop suitable English communication materials for Korean travelers. This study is designed under the category of Research and Development (RnD) complete with all the necessary steps in it, namely; analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation (ADDIE). The development process in this study will produce a textbook (module) that can be utilized effectively in the learning process as a guideline for the teachers and as the learning source for the students (clients). The module would be considered as relevant teaching and learning materials due to its compatibility with the curriculum objectives and the need analysis. From the conducted research it can be concluded that this module is valid and effective. The validity of this module can be proven in the content of the module. While the effectiveness can be seen in the progress shown by the client in mastering English communication skills.
