Abstrak

Kegiatan pembelajaran dilaksanakan bukan hanya untuk menuntut peserta didik memahami materi tetapi juga untuk diselenggarakan agar peserta didik mampu memecahkan masalah yang dihadapi dengan aktof dan berpikir kritis. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana metode Problem Based Learning untuk meningkatkan keaktifan peserta didik dalam pembelajaran muatan pelajaran IPA. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis Penelitian Tindakan Kelas dengan model Penelitian Tindakan Kelas Kemmis dan McTaggart. Jenis Penelitian Tindakan Kelas yang digunakan yakni Penelitian Tindakan Kelas Partisipan. Subjek dalam penelitian ini yaitu peserta didik kelas V SD Negeri Maguwoharjo 1 dengan rincian 28 orang. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan Teknik non tes yang kemudian dianalisis menggunakan deskriptif kuantitatif dan deskriptif kualitatif berdasarkan data yang didapatkan. Penelitian yang dilakukan memperoleh hasil yakni penerepan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning dalam pembelajaran mupel IPA mampu meningkatkan keaktifan peserta didik. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan hasil pada siklus I diperoleh rata-rata sebesar 71,68% dengan terjadi peningkatan sebesar 20,64% dari Pra Siklus. Selanjutnya pada siklus II diperoleh hasil keaktifan peserta didik sebesar 85,12% yakni mengalami peingkatan dari siklus I sebesar 13,44%. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, penerepan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning mampu meningkatkan keaktifan peserta didik pada muatan pelajaran IPA di SD N Maguwoharjo 1.

Abstract

Learning activities are carried out not only to require students to understand the material but also to be held so that students are able to solve problems faced with action and critical thinking. The purpose of this study is to find out how the Problem Based Learning method to increase student activeness in learning science lesson content. This study used a type of Classroom Action Research with the Kemmis and McTaggart Classroom Action Research model. The type of Classroom Action Research used is Participant Class Action Research. The subjects in this study were grade V students of SD Negeri Maguwoharjo 1 with details of 28 people. Data collection is carried out using non-test techniques which are then analyzed using quantitative descriptive and qualitative descriptive based on the data obtained. The research conducted obtained results, namely the implementation of the Problem Based Learning learning model in science learning lesson content was able to increase student activity. This is shown by the results in the first cycle obtained on average of 71.68% with an increase of 20.64% from the Pre Cycle. Furthermore, in the second cycle, the results of student activity were obtained by 85.12%, which was an increase from the first cycle of 13.44%. Based on these results, the implementation of the Problem Based Learning learning model was able to increase the activeness of students in the content of science lessons at SD N Maguwoharjo 1.
