Abstract


Utilization of information technology is currently used in all fields of work and one that must be able to take advantage of the development of information technology is the field of education. This is expected to be a balance for the development of information technology and facilitate the use of information for the community. The research carried out includes the development of an application for the introduction of English vocabulary, especially flora and fauna. Application especially for children aged 6-12 years. The application was developed using AR and developed with the gometa online application. The research method used in developing learning media uses the Research and Development (R&D) method. The results of this study will produce an augmented reality application that describes  flora and fauna in 2D and 3D and is equipped with quizzes to train children's knowledge in learning about the earth, flora, and fauna. Augmented Reality application development is developed using the online application gometa.studio.io and the application results are run using the metaverse android application. The conclusions of this study include applications that can be used as an alternative in finding information about   flora, and fauna.
