Abstract

This article explores the development of an interactive and effective remote laboratory for future technical education, utilizing hardware such as the ESP32, web-based software like Wokwi, and the IoT cloud platform Adafruit IO. The goal of this development is to create a solution that allows students to conduct technical experiments and practices remotely while still gaining a learning experience that closely resembles real-world conditions. The methodology involves designing the laboratory practice materials, implementing the ESP32 hardware combined with simulations in Wokwi, and integrating it with Adafruit IO for remote monitoring and control through an interactive dashboard. Testing was conducted to ensure that the system functions properly and is accessible in real-time by users. The test results demonstrate that this remote laboratory provides flexible and interactive access for students, enabling them to conduct technical experiments anytime and anywhere. Wokwi proved effective for programming simulations and hardware testing, while Adafruit IO facilitated easy monitoring and data analysis. Thus, this developed remote laboratory offers an innovative solution for future engineering education.
