Abstract
Mothers play a crucial role in educating children within the family, a view also emphasized by Pope Francis. This research aims to explain the Pope's perspective on the role of mothers in children's education. Data was collected through literature review. Three main focuses are explored: what are the distinctive roles of mothers in children's education; how do mothers carry out these roles; and what contributions should mothers make to the personal development of their children. The findings indicate that mothers educate children through nurturing, providing a role model, and developing Christian character. These three aspects help children grow in a safe and comfortable environment, behave justly in social interactions, communicate with empathy, and care about social and environmental issues.
